Check out these Bugatti inspired pens from Montegrappa

Italian company Montegrappa is taking their designs into the fast lane with a new collection inspired by the glamorous and high octane world of Bugatti cars. The Chiron collection has been designed by Gabor Megyeri and was christened for Louis Chiron who raced and won numerous races for Bugatti in the ‘20s and ‘30s.

The pens feature carbon fiber barrels, and anodized aluminum cap and barrel ends. They have been adorned with dynamic quilting engraving that references the upholstery seen in Bugattis while the cap top sports a red lacquer line. To use the pen all you need to do is turn the outer end of the cap and the pen barrel is freed. The signature clip, shaped to resemble the car’s console can also be used as a tie-clip. The Chiron pens feature an 18k gold nib which is offered in three writing grades of fine, medium, and broad. The collection also includes a rollerball version of the pen.

The pens are currently only available for online purchases in Italy, however, with only 250 of each produced, there’s bound to be a high demand from collectors. The fountain pen is priced at € 3,500 while the rollerball pen costs € 3,100.
