For the ultimate cigar aficionado – Schiphol Airport’s Exquisite boutique is selling a stunning Cohiba humidor for $421,500

Anniversaries and birthdays are always fun; most of the time for the people who are celebrating it and in the case of brands, the consumer has it all. Such is the case with Exquisite boutique at Amsterdam’s Schipol airport. Like its name, connoisseurs will vouch, this place is a destination for the world’s best and rarest cigars. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the renowned Cuban cigar brand Cohiba, the brand has created the limited-edition Vitola Cohiba 50 Aniversario Humidor. By the looks of it, (absolutely stunning looks) it looks more like an archaic travel trunk than a humidor and I guess that’s also its USP. Could this be the world’s most beautiful humidor? I haven’t seen many but I’m positively saying yes as this beauty includes Makassar ebony, sycamore, and guarea cedrata, which is also known as scented guarea. While the humidor looks antiquated, it’s very up-to-date with a device that allows its owner to follow the temperature and humidity conditions in the humidor via smartphone or tablet.

The humidor is even better looking on the inside, more like a luxurious cabinet, lined with 24ct gold-covered Cuban tobacco. Once unlocked, it will expose the beautiful cigars along with the addition of required accessories like a handmade leather cigar case and an ashtray made with the same marquetry technique used on the exterior and decorated in fine Armenian obsidian. The humidor offers another helpful accessory, a travel humidor for five Habanos, for ease while traveling. Schiphol Airport Retail Managing Director Simon Asmus said: “All these details make this cabinet humidor a real piece of art, memorable and unique, for the brand’s most exclusive enthusiasts. The Vitola Cohiba 50 Aniversario series includes only 50 pieces that sell for €379,000 ($4,21,465).
