We can type all we want, but nothing compares to the joy of writing on paper. For those who think similarly, French houses BIC and Pinel et Pinel have got you covered with their latest collaboration on the Cristal- a ballpoint pen-like no other.
The writing instrument combines the design of the legendary BIC Cristal with the luxurious craftsmanship of Maison Pinel et Pinel. It features a sheath of taurillon leather (in jade green) that is specially made in the Parisian workshops of Pinel and Pinel, along with a golden metal cap.
The luxe edition comes boxed with a black ink-coated pen and its blue ink refill and is specially manufactured to commemorate the 70th anniversary of BIC’s legendary Cristal pen. Those interested can also purchase an entire set of pens (limited edition and retailing at $237) finished in the colors of the French flag’s red, white, and blue.
Connoisseurs are already making a beeline to purchase the Cristal anniversary edition on the brand’s official website. Delighted by it, one of them commented, “Very nice pen, consistent with the photo! It’s a change from the eternal plastic pen!”.
