French couturier Jean-Paul Gaultier seems to be taking his out of the box designer ideas to create quirky yet classy things yet again. This time around, he has tied up with Paris-based gold bar manufacturer CPoR to come up with a 25-carat gold one-ounce bar with a heart design drawn by Gaultier on the inverse. The heart sports Gaultier’s trademark sailor stripe pattern with a banner that reads Jean-Paul Gaultier placed on top. Each of the regular-sized bars of gold is one kilo in weight.

Dallas-based Dillon Gage Metals is the US dealer for the one-ounce gold bars designed by French couturier Jean-Paul Gaultier. The Wall Street Journal reports that Dillon Gage quoted a price for the bar of $1,826.33 plus a $25 handling fee.
