Move over, the many missuses of Sheikhs. There is the pampered girlfriend on the prowl, one backed by a billionaire Russian. The oligarch has ostentatiously bestowed her with a blingy birthday present which would be no surprise (not to us anyway), except that the gift in question is the world’s most expensive e-cigarette!
Shisha Sticks is a UK company supplying electronic shisha vaping devices that “provide the finest and ultimate smoking experience without any of the harmful toxins.” And their latest vaping offering seems to have sparked (pun intended) a luxury-infused vape-olution. The device dazzles with flawless two-carat crystal clear diamonds.
Anthony Mixides from makers Shisha Sticks said, “this was a dream brief for us. We were asked to design the ultimate shisha vaping device for class, style, and luxury. We were told that, within reason, money was no object on the project. Once the design was approved, we set about sourcing the finest diamonds, yellow crystals, glass, and gold available.”
Result? A vaping stick lined with 46 yellow Swarovski crystals and a six-carat oval diamond worth $74,000 on the tip. Besides the rest 246, that is, with each worth almost $3,000! It also features “authentic hand-blown Italian glass from the Venetian island of Murano” and a 24-carat gold button and clearomizer base. The machine was manufactured on the personal order of a London-based Russian oil magnate. It apparently took over four months to design and is touted to be the finest ever shisha stick.
The billionaire demanded ‘nothing but the very best, added a source, but the man in question is keen to remain anonymous what isn’t anonymous, though, is the new creation. Christened ‘Shisha Sticks Sofia,’ it tempts you to seek the identity of the owner. But before you jump to conclusions that sound like “Roman Abramovich,” know that the Russian tycoon and Chelsea owner has already been ruled out by the likes of you who got there quicker as he’s not Britain based.
That said, I can’t even think of many who wouldn’t want to quit smoking if offered the whopping $887,000 that it took to make that e-cigarette.
