Virgin Galactic unveils a fleet of spaceships to public


When we heard that Virgin was announcing space travel features, we wow-ed. Now they have unveiled their space fleet to the public, cementing that space trips are not too far away. The Space Company, a partnership between Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic and Scaled Composites, displayed a replica of SpaceShipOne, the WhiteKnightOne, SpaceShipTwo, and WhiteKnightTwo. The fleet will be built at the Mojave Air and Space Port which will feature a 68,000-square-foot LEED-certified hangar, FAITH – the final assembly facility, Integration, and Test Facility. The company is currently employing 100 staff members which they hope will widen in the future. Everyone’s already excited about this mission which has already got $60 million worth of flight bookings from 46 countries. Although no fixed schedules are unveiled, tentatively 2 flights will start from next year.
