Are you looking to splurge on the property of your dreams? Have a look at a one-of-a-kind island estate in Florida’s mansion-laden Palm Beach that has been listed for the third time in 2021. And its asking price is a whopping $290 million.
The mansion is located at the ‘Tarpon Island,’ which spans across 2.27-acres and has 1,300 feet of water frontage on all four sides. The property (featuring a dock on the east side or a narrow bridge) can be accessed via air, land, or sea and comes with a lighted tennis court. Yes, that’s right!
Built in the 1930s, the estate consists of a 12,321-foot British Colonial-style mansion was designed by renowned Palm Beach architect Howard Major. On renovation, 18,000 additional square feet will further get added to the property.
It will also feature two swimming pools and a six-car garage in addition to the already existing 11-bedroom and 14-bathrooms. For those willing to skip the renovation, the property comes at a slashed price of $125 million.
The mansion was purchased by Miami property developer Todd Michael Glaser in July for a cool $85 million. He then listed it for $120 million in less than three months. Commenting on it, Jim McCann of Premier Estate Properties, who is representing the deal, said, “Palm Beach has seen a dramatic rise in demand, as companies and individuals re-evaluate their work-life balances.”
He further added, “With the combination of newly built waterfront condominiums, Class A office space (‘Wall Street South’), single-family residential homes, and lots of exciting growth in sites both commercial and residential, Palm Beach has captured eyeballs from all over the world, for those who wish to dive into this tropical oasis year-round.”
