2012 Ferrari California to debut at Geneva Motor Show

A lighter and more powerful Ferrari is coming your way at the Geneva Motor Show this year. The new version of the Ferrari California is 30 kg lighter with 30 hp more power. Armed with GDI V8, a new exhaust manifold, and a tweaked ECU, the 490hp car can hit 0-62 mph in just 3.8 seconds. The other upgrades include a new optional Handling Speciale package that features magnetorheological dampers running a patented Ferrari software, a 10% quicker steering ratio, along stiffer springs. The car will be available in an “extensive choice of colors developed by the Ferrari Styling Centre” and a free seven-year standard maintenance program.
