Performance enthusiasts and those who have spend some time behind the wheel of the F-type swear by its performance, looks and the ever-so satisfying exhaust note it delivers. The F-Type R has been one of my favorite performance cars ever. Jaguar’s performance division SVR has decided to up the ante by making the lightest and fastest F-Type ever. The all aluminium aerodynamic wonder is 25 kgs (55 lbs) lighter and packs 25 more horses than its predecessor. The 5 liter supercharged engine delivers 575 hp with 516 pound feet of torque and take the car to 60 mph from a standstill in 3.5 seconds. The 8-speed ZF gearbox is even more faster and fluidic. Taking her on the bends will be even more fun with the all while drive system and rear electronic active differential delivering the right amount of of torque to the wheels.
Along with one of the best looking the F-Type is also one of the best sounding cars on the planet. Jaguar tells that the bark, pops and crackles will be even more amplified and clear with a new lightweight titanium exhaust system. The 2017 Jaguar F-Type SVR will be making its official debut at the Geneva Auto show this march, bookings are already open for deliveries this summer. Prices start at $125,950 for the SVR-Coupe and $128,800 for the convertible.
