No prizes for guessing what the self-made billionaire who crane lifted his rare McLaren Senna GTR supercar into his 57th-floor penthouse will do with his new $3.5 million Koenigsegg Jesko Attack hypercar

Adrian Portelli, the self-made Australian billionaire who crane lifted his $3 million McLaren Senna GTR to his $26 million penthouse in Melbourne, added another track-focused supercar to his collection: the bonkers Koenigsegg Jesko Attack.

Considering his last track toy (limited to 75 units worldwide, mind you) is currently resigned to spend its life as art in his 57th-floor penthouse, we wonder if the 256mph, track-focused Jesko Attack may also end up as an automotive sculpture.

This particular Koenigsegg Jesko Attack is no ordinary commission, if you can call any of the 125 units of the Jesko series destined for production ordinary. Portelli’s gold leaf Jesko Attack is finished in Koenigsegg Naked Carbon (KNC), a $443,000 option the last time we checked. The incredibly complex process involves sanding the carbon fiber finish down to the weave by hand.

Considering there’s no lacquer on top, up to 44 pounds is yours as weight saving over a regular carbon body. Koenigsegg debuted KNC in 2018 and as of 2023, only three cars had received the special finish, making Portelli’s Jesko Attack quite special.

Being a right-hand drive Jesko with gold leaf accents, we can only hope Portelli exercises the 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 1,600 horsepower a bit before he decides to mount it on a wall, for example. It’d be a shame to keep the Jesko Attack’s record-setting performance stationary.
