BMW has announced a special edition ‘640i coupe M Performance Edition’ exclusively for Japan. Limited to only 10 examples, the special edition BMW 6 Series Coupe will be available on sale from 12th June at the price of 10,979,000 Yen ($88,500 approximately). In terms of the special treatment, the BMW 640i Coupe M Performance Edition comes wrapped in Alpine White exterior paintjob, the pure white theme adopted by BMW motor sport. Additionally, it comes with BMW M Package, which includes 20-inch M light-alloy wheels with V-spoke styling, M Performance carbon mirror cover and BMW M Performance black kidney grille.
Adaptive LED headlights come as standard with the BMW 640i Coupe M Performance Edition. As for the inside, the cabin is upholstered in black Dakota leather and features sports seats (driver’s seat and front passenger seat) along with the paddle shift “M Sport leather steering wheel”. In addition to that, ‘electric glass sunroof’ and ‘plus-package’ come as standard equipment to enhance the comfort and quality. Power comes from a 6-cylinder DOHC 3.0-liter turbo engine coupled to an 8-speed Sport AT that generates a maximum output of 320PS and peak torque 450Nm.
