Brabus has entered the RV market with a $1.5 million monstrous motorhome, a two-room luxury suite on wheels, that boasts an open kitchen with a wine cooler, a bedroom with a king-size bed, a walk-in shower, granite flooring, a TV connected to a PS5, and underfloor heating.

Tuning house Brabus is renowned for making absolutely wild creations based on Mercedes and Maybach vehicles. However, as the German brand claims, it is not afraid to face new challenges. Venturing into the RV market for the very first time, Brabus has introduced a hyper-luxurious motorhome called the Big Boy 1200 Masterpiece Motorhome, which sets new standards for luxury and performance in the segment.

Based on a diesel Mercedes semi-truck, the monstrous RV features all the qualities you would expect from a Brabus product. In fact, the Big Boy is just as wild as any of Brabus’ road cars.

Starting with the exterior, the 12-meter-long motorhome features Brabus’ signature blacked-out look. The front is dominated by a big carbon radiator grille with a supersized Brabus logo integrated into it. The side wind deflectors, fog lamp covers, and the handles for opening the hood are also made from the same lightweight material. There’s a pair of LED auxiliary lights attached to the roof light bar, while the tail lights are also LED.

The bathroom

The Big Boy 1200 features two electrically extendable slide-outs on each side, which can extend the bedroom and saloon to a width of 4.5 meters. The driver’s cabin boasts two comfortable seats upholstered in premium Brabus leather. It also gets an electrically lowerable, 160-centimeter-wide bed located directly above the cockpit. The living room has a pair of sofas upholstered in the finest gray Brabus leather quilted with the company’s signature triangle pattern. In addition to high-quality gray carpeting, carbon fiber trims add sportiness to the interior.

The kitchen

The saloon houses a modern kitchen with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, and spacious fridge with an integrated freezer compartment. Also included are a wine fridge and a coffee machine to take care of the beverage needs. The dining area is made up of a sofa opposite the kitchen, along with designer chairs upholstered in black and gray fabric and a large black table. This area also doubles up as a workstation. The bathroom is between the bedroom and living area and features a rainforest shower, WC, and washbasin.

The bedroom

The bedroom is at the rear of the RV and gets a king-size bed along with integrated storage, mirrored wardrobes, an expandable desk, and a 43-inch 4K TV with PlayStation 5. Thanks to satellite internet via Starlink, passengers can enjoy uninterrupted streaming services at the remotest locations. Other high-tech features include a 360-degree camera system, automatic AC, smart home features, and an advanced infotainment system.

Eight roof-mounted solar panels can provide power during off-the-grid trips. The RV is powered by a 12.8-liter 6-cylinder Turbo Diesel engine that produces 530hp. Top speed is limited to 90km/h (~56mph). As far as the pricing goes, Brabus’ uber-luxurious motorhome can be yours for around $1.5 million.
