It’s always a sad day when a limited edition hypercar gets in a wreck — it’s much worse when two get wrecked alongside an innocent road vehicle. In this particular case, a truck that just was in the wrong place at the wrong time, which was between two millionaire drivers in their multi-million dollar hypercars. The two 1,600+ horsepower Bugatti Chirons involved were part of the ongoing Bugatti Grand Tour in Morocco, a driving holiday for Bugatti owners.

In the video first posted to Reddit, we see the two Chirons take bad calls while attempting to overtake a truck on a narrow road with oncoming traffic, leading to one taking out the other. The truck, in this case, was T-boned off the road in the carnage and toppled when it drove down the steep shoulder.

As the video shows, the second car in the convoy, a silver 1-of-30 Chiron Super Sport, pulled out from a blind spot to overtake the lead 1-of-60 Chiron Pur Sport at about the same time the lead car attempted to do the same, leading to the crash.

The silver Chiron then spun into the truck and off the road, sustaining heavy damage as pictures from one news agency show. The lead Chiron appears to be less damaged, while the truck was heavily damaged as well.

With the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport coming in between $3.6 million to $5 million, and the Bugatti Super Sport carrying a starting price tag of $3.8 million, this wreck has the potential to be one of the most expensive automotive crashes this year.
