The ultra-exclusive Bugatti Tourbillon is set to receive an even more exclusive customization option. While Bugatti hasn’t officially announced it yet, details of a new ‘Equipe Pur Sang’ package have emerged through Instagram account @bugattitourbillon.registry, revealing a suite of bespoke modifications priced at $240,000.
The name ‘Equipe Pur Sang’, which translates from French to “Pure Blood Team,” reflects Bugatti’s storied French heritage. According to the leaked information, this landmark package will offer both exterior and interior enhancements to the already exceptional Tourbillon.
The most striking exterior modification is an impressive eight-pipe exhaust system, a feature that’s sure to make the Tourbillon even more distinctive. The package also includes special exterior inscriptions and a customizable wing. Images from Bugatti’s official configurator showcase the car in a stunning combination of Matt Vermillion and Matt Red carbon fiber, complemented by details in a newly developed color called “Aerolithe.”
Inside the cabin, owners can opt to have the “Equipe Pur Sang” logo emblazoned on both the headrests and dashboard, further emphasizing the exclusivity of this package.
The Bugatti Tourbillon itself represents the pinnacle of automotive engineering and luxury, continuing Bugatti’s tradition of creating some of the world’s most extraordinary vehicles. Following in the footsteps of its predecessors like the Chiron and Veyron, the Tourbillon exemplifies Bugatti’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of performance and craftsmanship.
The Tourbillon, unveiled in June 2024, is a groundbreaking hybrid hypercar priced at approximately $4.6 million. Limited to 250 units, this successor to the Chiron features an 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16 engine developed with Cosworth, delivering 1,000 horsepower. Complemented by three electric motors, the combined output reaches an astounding 1,800 horsepower.
The Tourbillon accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.0 seconds and boasts a top speed of 445 km/h. Its design pays homage to Bugatti’s heritage, incorporating elements inspired by mechanical watchmaking, such as an analog instrument cluster crafted by Swiss horologists. Production is set to commence in 2026.
While these details are based on configurator renderings, the automotive world eagerly awaits the official unveiling of the ‘Equipe Pur Sang’ package and its real-world implementation. With its comprehensive customization options and significant price tag, this package seems poised to offer Tourbillon owners an even more exclusive way to stand out in the ultra-luxury automotive segment.
