If you’ve seen it all, hit the roads in the most hi-tech cars, flown over to exotic locations on chartered planes, then why not hit the high-seas in style too? If you really want to, then the radical yacht-builder Walley, based in Monegasque, is secretly working on just the baby you are looking for! A new Aeroyacht 110, a superfast 33.5-meter catamaran, is being designed by its founder and President Gregor Tarjan. The secret to its exclusivity is that it comes with a two-seat Icon A5 amphibian sports plane that can be launched from a specially designed pod on the yacht.
The yacht is touted to be the world’s largest composite multihull, and the naval architecture is handled by multihull specialists Morrelli & Melvin. The yacht has the capacity to do 35 knots at full speed and is expected to hit stores by late 2010.
