Ferrari pays tribute to Pininfarina with the Sergio limited-edition supercar

Only recently, Italian supercar manufacturer Ferrari, famed for the stallions it makes, hit headlines with the release of its most extreme ride ever, the 1,035 HP FXX K. Now, barely a week later, Ferrari has managed to turn heads once again with the unveiling of yet another fiery beast, the Sergio. The car is essentially a heftily modified version of the 458 Spider and has been crafted as a tribute to Sergio Pininfarina, the man who changed the world of automotive design forever. Ferrari has already delivered the first Sergio to the United Arab Emirates’ capital, Abu Dhabi.

The car is heavily inspired by Pininfarina’s styling in the late 60s and 70s and manages to blend the brilliance of the past with contemporary creativity extremely well. Inside, the Ferrari Sergio sports black leather upholstery, complimented with red stitching. The door trim and dashboard are topped with carbon for a more premium yet sporty look. Only six of these cars will be delivered and each of these have been configured to meet the specifications of their future owners. The price? Each of these comes with a price tag of more than $1 million!
