Like its cars even a bicycle from Lamborghini screams for attention

Lamborghini and Cervélo Cycles made a splash at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show with the launch of their triathlon bicycle: the Cervélo P5X Lamborghini edition. Some of the lightest and fastest bikes in the world come from Cervélo, and Lamborghini is of course world famous for their sleek, fast and incredibly well designed cars. The product of their collaboration is definitely an interesting ride.

The PX5 comes in a yellow and black colorway and its frame is covered in artwork that builds on a Y shaped motif by Automobili Lamborghini’s Centro Stile based at the company’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese. A seat post stamp indicates the bike’s serial number which is important since only 25 of these fabulous bikes have been created.

The bike is not just about its smart looks though. 180 hours of wind tunnel testing have gone into its creation. “Our Lamborghini Accademia drivers have been training on Cervélo for some time now, so we already know how special, and how fast, these bikes are,” said Katia Bassi, Lamborghini’s Chief Marketing Officer. “With elite performances, outstanding design and innovation, this collaborative project was a natural fit for both brands.”

“This limited-edition speed machine unites brands that are passionate about world-class products and performance. Our triathletes lead the charge when it comes to racing, and now they can stand out from the crowd even more emphatically,” said Robert de Jonge, Managing Director at Cervélo Cycles.
