Oldest surviving 1903 Ford Model A is up for sale


The last time this car went up for an auction, it fetched a whopping $693,000. This 1903 Ford Model one of the three models the Ford Motor Company ever manufactured, and with only 5 owners so far, you could be on the way to becoming its latest and newest owner at the RM auction in Hershey, Pennsylvania, next month. The classic car with the Model A Chassis No. 30 has a 72-inch wheelbase and is powered by an astounding 100 cu. Inch two-cylinder inch that produces an overwhelming 8hp, sarcasm intended.

The car was first bought new for $850 and was sold in the 1950s for $400. After restoration, the car was then sold to a Swiss Ford dealer in 1961, and in 2001 came back to the US when an anonymous buyer bought the classic car. John O’Quinn paid the $693,000 price in 2007, and now you have your chance to lay your hands on this great piece of the automobile history.
