Packing more battery power than 10 Tesla Model S cars combined, the world’s most advanced luxury electric catamaran is coming to the US

Polish eco-responsible catamaran specialist Sunreef Yachts will arrive at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with their 80 Sunreef Power Eco, marking the US debut world’s most advanced luxury electric catamaran. Named after the Norse sun goddess, the electric catamaran boasts the industry’s biggest battery bank in the category of leisure crafts up to 24m. Combining a 990kWh battery pack and 200 square meters of composite-integrated solar panels, Sól can achieve e-motoring autonomy for close to 300 nautical miles, which is simply unprecedented. For longer journeys, the catamaran can use her range extender, which provides her with transoceanic range.

Furthermore, its cutting-edge charging system and the capability to transform any voltage available in the world make it perfect for any destination across the globe. The catamaran not only prioritizes sustainability but also offers enhanced efficiency and performance on the open seas.

The uber-luxurious vessel is big enough to accommodate up to eight guests across one king and three queen cabins, along with offering space for a crew of four. Sól’s main saloon gets wraparound windows which not only flood the space with natural light but also offer unobstructed views of the ocean. Furthermore, the interior of the luxury vessel features all the amenities you’ll expect from a yacht of its size while maintaining its eco credentials.
