If you thought President Obama, given his powerful position, gets what he wants. Think again. The leader apparently always wished for his presidential ride to boast of a hybrid drivetrain. But the Secret Service refused to grant Obama’s wish, sighing security reasons, of course. Reportedly according to Obama’s bodyguards, a hybrid engine couldn’t produce the kind of power necessary to scoot the massive Cadillac down the road in an emergency. What actually lies under the hood of the presidential Cadillac Escalade Hybrid is still a mystery. But some guess, the powerful ride eight cylinders and enough torque to move a mountain of armor plating. Furthermore, the car is said to be diesel-powered.
Well, since the real tech specs of the presidential limo are never going to be revealed, we have no choice but to keep on guessing.
