NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is well known for his love for heavily customized cars that suit his larger-than-life personality. The newest to join his insane car collection is what is being touted as the world’s first widebody carbon fiber Tesla Cybertruck. Customized by California-based Effortless Motors, the one-of-a-kind Cybertruck features a jaw-dropping blacked-out exterior, a carbon fiber body kit, and massive wheels. You’ll be surprised that Shaq got the idea of acquiring this beast from none other than LeBron James. It was LeBron who initially went to Effortless for a custom Cybertruck. Realizing Tesla’s electric pickup truck is big enough to fit his massive 7-foot-plus frame, Shaq immediately took the decision to add one to his garage. However, he wanted one that was like no other and reached out to the California-based custom shop with unique requests. There’s no denying that Effortless Motors effortlessly transformed the already bold automobile into a complete head-turner.

Effortless delivered what they call the Cyberbeast at Shaq’s villa in Las Vegas twelve months ahead of time. The custom shop even uploaded a video of the delivery on Instagram, perfectly capturing the basketball legend’s reaction to seeing the beast for the first time. “I hate to say it but I have the cleanest Cybertruck in the country,” Shaq can be heard saying with excitement in the video.

The customized Cybertruck features a black-on-black exterior with a glossy finish, making it look straight out of a sci-fi movie. Adding to its beastly appearance are big carbon fiber fender flares, which are absolutely necessary to accommodate the humongous 26-inch wheels. Furthermore, the front gets a color-changing light strip, while the truck is also equipped with underglow LED lights. Interestingly, the interior seems to be unchanged. However, we won’t be surprised if Shaq soon gets it personalized with something completely outlandish.

The blacked-out Cybertruck immediately grabbed a lot of attention on the internet, including that of Tesla boss Elon Musk. The billionaire shared pictures of Shaq’s truck on X (formerly Twitter). Shaq loves the Cybertruck so much that he ordered two instead of just one. While the specs of the Cyberbeast are not known, the other one is the top-of-the-line, tri-motor version capable of churning out 845 horsepower. Despite its massive size, the electric truck is capable of accelerating from zero to 100mph in just 2.6 seconds.

This is not the first time the NBA superstar customized an automobile to accommodate his massive frame. It all started with a 1995 Ferrari F355 Spider that was heavily modified to make room for the 7-foot-1 athlete in the cabin. Several years later, he spent hundreds and thousands of dollars to stretch a Lamborghini Gallardo by a foot so that he could drive the Italian supercar.
