Kardashians are among the most famous families on the planet. They live in the lap of luxury, and everything from their homes, businesses, cars, and in some cases, even jets are a testament to their well-heeled lifestyle. It makes one wonder, is there anything the Kardashians don’t have? Yes, a superyacht! Having said that, they do have ample moolah to rent one, and rent they did! Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker chartered their fashion designer pals Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s former prestigious $50 million Regina d’Italia superyacht off the coast of Portofino, Italy, ahead of their wedding this past week.

We continue to be stuck on the luxurious boat despite all the hoopla around the celebrity wedding, what they wore, the guest list, etc. Regina d’Italia is the true star here, featuring lush gold-veined marble floors, gold door handles, and leopard skin throws. If superyachts were human, the Regina d’Italia would definitely be a Kardashian. Let’s take a closer look at the megayacht that housed Reality TV royalty on the Italian Riviera coastline.

The regal Regina d’Italia:
With a current worth of $50 million, Regina d’Italia is not the most expensive luxury yacht, but it oozes a regal air that would put most opulent megayachts to shame. Meaning Queen of Italy in English, this cruiser was sold by Dolce & Gabbana in 2019, who took delivery of the pleasure craft in 2006, as per People. However, the flamboyance and flair remained. The vessel was built in Italy at the Viarregio shipyard by Codecasa, who is also responsible for her lavish interiors. A gross tonnage of 1215.0 GT and an 11.2 m beam allows the ship to accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 staterooms (each named after an exotic animal), with 16 crew members who ensure a luxurious superyacht experience.

When you title a ship a queen, its interiors should undoubtedly stand up to it, and Regina D’Italia doesn’t disappoint. Daily Mail shared that this beautiful cruiser features lush gold-veined marble floors and gold door handles like outstretched hands, while the furniture is enhanced with leopard-skin throws. Even the bathrooms reek of riches and include pure gold taps studded with iridescent rubies and sapphires.

If that wasn’t enough, this 213-footer made from light-weight aluminum flaunts teak wood decks decorated with pools, a Jacuzzi, and a spa.

Guests can let their hair down and have the time of their life on the 167-foot custom-made inflatable water slide that tosses them straight into the ocean from the top deck. Among other noteworthy features are extensive entertainment equipment, a well-equipped gym, and captivating visuals of gold floors. Regina D’Italia is a motor yacht powered by two Caterpillar diesel engines. She flaunts a top speed of 17 kn and a maximum range of 5000.0 nm when navigating at cruising speed. Truth be told, much like the Kardashians, this ship is all about beauty with no genuine care about performance.
