Couples who love Shakesphere here is your chance to stay at Juliet’s home on Valentine’s day

The day of love is around the corner, and giving you a chance to celebrate it with aplomb is Airbnb that is all set to provide one lucky couple access the site where William Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet” made their first declaration of love to each other. Yes, that’s right!

To make this February the 14th special for lovebirds around the globe, the online hospitality forum is opening doors to the the13th century Casa di Giulietta, wherein the winning couple gets to stay in Juliet’s medieval-themed bedroom. The luxurious quarter features the actual bed used in Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 film adaptation of the story and provides just the romantic setting that you need.

The exclusive package further includes a personal butler, a candlelight dinner with meals cooked by two Michelin starred Italian chefs Giancarlo Perbellini, a private tour of the medieval property, and a tour of Verona in true Shakespearean style. To avail of the opportunity, applicants will need to write a letter to Juliet and explain why they are the perfect fit for the stay. Entries are to be submitted online on Airbnb’s official website until February 2, 2020.

Commenting on the offer – Giacomo Trovato, Airbnb’s general manager for Italy, in a statement said – “This stay will give one couple the unique chance to celebrate their love in what is possibly the most romantic home in the history of literature.” Well, could Valentine’s day get any better than this?
