To silence critics for good, Saudi Crown Prince MBS hosted a mega party, inviting influencers and financiers from around the world to celebrate the completion of the seahorse-shaped Sindalah Island, proving his $1.5 trillion Neom project is very much real.


The satisfaction of accomplishing something that no one believed in is unparalleled. That euphoria is currently being felt by none other than Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, whose Sindalah Island is the first Neom project to open its doors. This is an iconic moment that will be enjoyed by a select few financiers, entertainers, and influencers from around the world. They will finally set foot on the completed Sindalah Island, the first project to open at the planned city of Neom.

The seahorse-shaped island includes ultra-luxury hotels, unadulterated beaches, an 86-berth marina, and so much more. Images and videos are already circulating on social media, creating hype that is both expected and key to showcasing a completed part of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Vision 2030.

Perhaps they will also get a glimpse of the island paradise, packed with high-end restaurants, exclusive beach clubs, and endless opportunities to enjoy water sports or simply soak up the sun. Prince Mohammed, the architect of Vision 2030 meticulously overseeing its execution, stated, “Our ambition is to create a reality that reflects our dreams.”

The $1.5 trillion Neom City will also include a futuristic port, a year-round ski village, venues to host the FIFA World Cup and the Asian Winter Games, and a plethora of luxury hotels and resorts with myriad themes. The Line, however, is undoubtedly the most ambitious Neom project, one that will be launched with a celebration so spectacular that the world will halt.
