Korean Air’s new Prestige Suites now combine privacy and space for discerning travelers

In keeping with the trend of increasingly luxe airline offerings, Korean Air has announced the addition of “Prestige Suites” to their roster of high end offerings in Prestige Class. Prestige Suites aim to combine comfort and space with a sense of privacy featuring seats with innovative armrests that slide down out of sight when the seat is in fully flat bed-mode, widening the seat for the passenger. Privacy panels installed between the seats make passengers more comfortable while ottomans accompanying every seat allow each traveler to truly put up their feet and relax. Seating has also been reconfigured in a way that allows passengers in window seats to enter the aisle without disturbing those seated in aisle seats.

Along with logistical upgrades, Korean Air has provided new entertainment tech in their Prestige Suites including a handset that features a touchpad so it can be used like a smartphone. Movies, music, games or information services are accessible easily using the handset. Passengers can also view flight information including the location of the aircraft etc. at the same time as watching movies.

While these Prestige Suites will debut on a Korean Air A330-300 on the Guangzhou, Singapore and Hanoi routes, Korean Air will shortly introduce the seats to 38 new aircrafts including six A330-300s, twelve B777-300ERs, ten B747-8is and ten B787-9s.
