Swarovski’s SoHo store gets a taste of Europe

Nothing dazzles like the shimmering diamonds but the purity of crystals are not far behind. Swarovski is taking over a chunk of the luxury interior design theme and there is no surprise that the Swarovski store in SoHo is getting a restaurant amidst its scintillating premises. Austrian Chef Kurt Gutenbrunner has opened the outlet featuring contemporary central European cuisine in the backdrop of a modern ambiance with beige furnishings and walls embellished with Swarovski crystal patterns. There are two floors and can accommodate a total of 100 people for a reception party in total at a given time. That is the plan chef Kurt has, to let out the space for private gatherings or events. The downstairs space also features photographs in black and white of beauty queens Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe.
