Buben & Zorweg’s one-off Grande Infinity watch safe offers the perfect combination of hand-crafted elegance and technical sophistication

German luxury brand Buben & Zorweg is known for making highly technical and feature-rich watch safes for the ultra-rich. Their hand-crafted products are so sophisticated and beautifully designed that even Bugatti collaborated with them on an exclusive line of safes and watch winders. Buben & Zorweg has now revealed a bespoke model commissioned by a special client, which the German company describes as “the pinnacle of craftsmanship combined with the latest in technological innovation.” The one-off piece is based on the company’s Grande Infinity model, which has been around for a decade.

The unique piece features a glossy white lacquered case. It adds to the elegance of the overall design and beautifully compliments the onyx natural stone which crowns the central panel. The eye-catching texture of the onyx stone offers a beautiful background to the Buben & Zorweg Alpha 01 Pendulum Clock, which is a nod to the precision engineering and aesthetic grace of traditional clockwork.

The pendulum clock is flanked by the innovative “Swing & Hide” door system that allows up to 20 watches to be prominently displayed or discreetly protected, offering both security and accessibility. The swing and hide mechanism can be operated with the help of a remote.

The inside of the doors are lined with blue-purple Nappa leather, which adds contrast against the white exterior and is complemented by matching LED lighting. The lighting inside the unit highlights the pendulum clock along with all the timepieces safely put on display.

The bottom end of the masterpiece is a high-security VDS Class I safe that allows for an additional level of safekeeping. The vault offers space to store valuables and offers 4 additional watch winders. The price of the one-off piece has not been revealed by Buben & Zorweg. However, the standard Grande Infinity has a starting price of $210,000.
