The man who, by his admission, has designed a hundred thousand watches created quite a stir in the 1980s with watch models based on Disney characters. The world-famous watch guru Gerald Genta created a masterpiece with his Mickey Mouse watch that children loved, as did rock stars, pop artists, heads of state, and scientists. Genta resigned and created a new venture called Gerald Charles after his eponymous company, trademarks, patents, and designs were acquired by Bulgari in 2000.

The new model comes in a stainless steel case with a diameter of 41mm and a height of 11.85mm and uses a 26.20mm single-retrograde movement. The modern designed case has sapphire crystals on both sides.
