When you’re young, rich, and European with a wealthy ‘papa,’ who can stop you from getting everything you want? The European Kid, known in the world of social media for his lavish lifestyle and extravagant purchases, was recently denied a chance to shop due to a declining credit card. The 23-year-old was sitting in the company of Jacob & Co. boss Jacob Arabo, salivating over their most expensive watch, The Billionaire, worth $7.7 million. He was witnessing this horological masterpiece in person and decided to purchase it instantly. What followed next came as a shock not just to the affluent kid but also to the luxury watchmaker.

Unable to resist the charms of the dazzling Billionaire timepiece, he decided to swipe his card and get himself a very dashing Christmas present. An employee of the brand informed the young spendthrift that his card was declined. All hell broke loose as the spoiled brat (christened by Mr. Arabo himself) couldn’t take the news and angrily dialed his ATM machine, aka father, for help. Amid all the chaos, a calm Mr. Arabo requested security to guide the berating son of the billionaire out of his office.

The episode ended with the European requesting the Jacob & Co. founder to keep the $7.7 million watch for him and not sell it to Jay-Z, to which the businessman only had two words: ‘spoiled brat.’ For those unaware, the European kid is actually New York-based Aris Yeager, a popular influencer known for his viral comedy skits. He isn’t a European heir but is clearly a master at adopting the personality of one. As ‘Louis,’ he does everything from lamenting at people (actors) for parking their Ferraris or boats in his spots, screaming at pilots, or firing chefs for a lack of pasta-cooking talent.

This keen observer does a stellar job. It’s not surprising that his skits have amassed nearly 70 million likes on TikTok. He boasts a following of 553K on Instagram. The video starring the Jacob & Co. boss has received 6.1 million views on the platform at the time of writing. Jacob Arabo is an American jewelry and watch designer who founded Jacob & Company in 1986 and turned it into a celeb-favorite luxury watch brand within three decades.

The revenue has grown exponentially in the past three years, from $81 million in 2020 to $137 million the following year and $188 million in 2022, according to Forbes. The 58-year-old was a true sport for participating in the video and attending to ‘Louis’ with the same care as he did football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, until he didn’t.

The Billionaire watch is vision and execution par excellence –

For a whopping $7.7 million, the dazzling Billionaire comes encrusted with 189 carats of Ashoka diamonds. The diamond, named after the Indian emperor Ashoka Maurya, features an elongated, cushion-cut shape with rounded corners, patented by William Goldberg, a renowned figure in the diamond industry. So exclusive are these diamonds that a second iteration of the ultra-luxurious timepiece cannot be made.

The blinding diamond exterior conceals the skeletonized caliber JCAM09 tourbillon movement, featuring 167 elements and 19 jewels with a 72-hour power reserve. Even more extravagant is the Jacob & Co. $20 million Billionaire Timeless Treasure, a breathtaking masterpiece that took more than three years to craft and boasts 425 of the world’s rarest gems. The lucky few to don the exceptional timepieces include DJ Khaled and Floyd Mayweather.
