Johnnie Walker is considered to be the most popular spirit brand in the world, and the company has entered into collaboration with Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot to create limited edition timepieces based on the Big Bang Aero. All the watches by Hublot from its Big Bang collection are great like the Bing Bang Pop Art watch and the Bing Bang Unico Bi-Retrograde timepiece, but this latest edition strikes the perfect balance between elegance and uber-cool style. To be more precise, Hublot has come up with this special timepiece in collaboration with the new “Johnnie Walker House” in Beijing, China. Apparently, whiskey is hugely popular in China and the Johnnie Walker House is a bar-style outlet that has been set up by the iconic brand at three locations to promote whiskey culture.
Coming to the watch, you might have guessed by now that the Hublot Big Bang Aero Johnnie Walker watch is exclusive to China and will be made in a limited number of 25 pieces. This is for the first time that the two brands have collaborated together. Based on the Hublot Big Bang Aero, the limited edition features the Johnnie Walker logo on the face and a more retro-styled “John Walker & Sons” motif on the rear of the watch. The watch comes in black ceramic 44mm wide case and has a skeletonized Hublot HUB4214 automatic chronograph movement. The pushers, crown, dial, and the alligator skin dual strap are all styled in Brown ‘Whiskey’ tone that beautifully blends with the black color of the watch.
