Patek Philippe introduces the Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph 5990R in rose gold

Patek Philippe has released an incredibly desirable version of the Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph 5990 at the Watches & Wonders 2021. Originally released in 2014 in stainless steel, the latest iteration is decked out in rose gold and fitted with a beautiful blue sunburst dial, which has in a way unshackled the full aesthetic potential of the piece. Patek Philippe took the watch that we already loved and successfully managed to make it even better. The Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph 5990/1R-001 is a complete head-turner. The rose gold version retains the iconic shape of the case with its instantly recognizable rounded octagonal bezel. The case measures 40.5mm x 12.53mm. The blue embossed dial also features the same symmetric layout as the original with two sub-dials stacked one on top of the other and the model’s signature two-zone AM/PM indication on each side.

The Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph 5990 combines three complications: a flyback chronograph, a dual time-zone, and a date indication. The 2-position screw-down crown can be used for winding the watch and also set the time. The right side pushers are for operating the chronograph, while the ones on the left can be used to adjust the skeletonized hand for the second time zone indication. The watch is powered by the super-impressive automatic caliber CH 28‑520 C FUS that measures just 6.95mm in thickness. The movement that is visible from the caseback beats at 4Hz and offers up to 55 hours of power. It comes with an integrated solid rose gold bracelet with a fold-over clasp. The Patek Philippe Nautilus Travel Time Chronograph 5990/1R-001 can be yours for an equivalent of $106,000.
