This pocket-sized Roomba type vacuum cleaner will intelligently clean your hotel bed

Here’s a startling fact; 81% of surfaces in hotel rooms are plagued with germs and bacteria?

Fortunately for us, U.S. based Ventur Studio has developed a solution for this agonizing problem; CleanseBot, a travel-friendly cleaning robot. The robot addresses this key issue without harsh chemicals or manual labour.

Weighing only 220 grams, UV-C light is generated that is used to kill 99.99 percent of bacteria, germs, and dust mites. Its team tested the CleanseBot on more than 40 different types of materials including sheets, blankets, and beds in order to create 18 bespoke AI sensors.

Finally, we can bid adieu to spend hours cleaning pillowcases, toilet seats, light switches, bathroom fixtures, TV remotes, mobile phones, keyboards; after all this smart robot does it all.

CleanseBot also doubles up as a handy power bank.

The manufacturer claims it can sanitize and disinfect six times on just one full four-hour charge and that it takes between 30 and 60 minutes to clean effectively.

The product created quite a stir on Kickstarter with 10,474 backers have pledged $1,187,861 to bring the project to life.

While the Kickstarter price is $99, the planned retail price is pegged at $259. Shipping is free, and units are expected to ship in April 2019.
