Vertu Signature for Bentley limited edition handset launched for $22,800

Last year in October, Vertu teamed up with Bentley to launch the first exclusive, limited edition smartphone as a part of their five-year partnership. The British luxury smartphone maker has announced the second exclusive model to be spawned from its partnership with Bentley. The ‘Signature for Bentley’ custom handset is inspired by the Bentley Mulsanne Speed and combines new materials and unique finishes to create a truly luxury smartphone. It features a carbon fiber pillow sharing the same weave as the car, and a Beluga Black calf leather rear, using leather from the same tannery as the luxury automobile.

The Signature for Bentley also comes with polished stainless steel side and tactile knurled finishes that bring to mind the Bentley control knobs. The keypad is finished in sapphire crystal, with each key sitting on a ruby. It is also adorned with a titanium Bentley Flying B logo. For the more discerning customers, Vertu also offers full customization of the Signature handset to create something of your own design from 2,300 possible combinations. The price for all this you ask. This special edition handset will cost you £14,500 ($22,800 approximately). The Vertu Signature for Bentley will be showcased at Goodwood Festival of Speed and Concourse d’Elegance, before it’s officially launched on 18 September 2015.
