A giant Game of Thrones chocolate dragon Easter egg to be displayed at Selfridges

The Queen of the Andals and Mother of Dragons may have no idea what Easter is all about but that doesn’t make this chocolate dragon Easter egg any less desirable. Crafted by chocolatier Melt, this massive egg not only looks large enough to stuff more than one Easter bunny into it, but it also weighs an impressive 15 kilograms. It stands at 55 cms, which is over half a meter in height and makes for a palatable showpiece for chocolate lovers.

The makers invested over 25 hours to craft this absolute beauty of an Easter egg and what better timing to have it out? HBO keeps dropping hints in the trailers and teasers and while we’ve come to accept that all three dragons are fully grown and unfortunately all male, we couldn’t expect another egg in the unforeseeable series.

For those who want a glimpse of the egg, do make sure you’re at the unveiling at Selfridges on Oxford Street on 12th March. Artisans will be working assembling this wonderful, edible masterpiece from 11 am to 1 pm. From there it will go on display till 4 pm after which, we’re quite uncertain of its fate. Visitors will also have the opportunity to win box sets of Game of Thrones.
