So you have just checked into the Four Seasons Resort Maui. While you’re busy creating memories of a lifetime, the luxury hotel is taking the next step by helping guests capture their happy moments. The hotel has announced Scott Miles, the Four Seasons Resort Maui’s first ‘Photo Ambassador’, who will present himself to capture individual or group shots of your perfect holiday, often against a dreamy Maui sunset backdrop, using the guests’ cameras.
Better known as ‘Smiles’ by the guests and staff alike, Miles joined the property as a security guard and often found himself offering to take group photos of guests at key moments like sunset and sunrise. Before he knew it, he became the hotel company’s first official photo ambassador, offering his photography service on request. Besides taking the pictures, Miles is also a great guide, when it comes to finding the perfect picture-worthy-spot across the resort. Miles will also review the pictures taken to ensure the guests got the shot they wanted.
This is just one of the many complimentary services and amenities at the Four Seasons Resort Maui. The resort recently completed complete renovations of their two presidential suites – the largest in Maui; the fountain pool and cabanas and the launch of ‘Unforgettable Events and Experiences’ – a collaboration with globally recognized athletes, musicians, winemakers and chefs to create unique experiences that allow guests to follow their passions.
The iconic property, which recently celebrated 25 years of service, collected from its current and former guests, employees and managers -written memories, photographs and other memorabilia from their time at the resort, and placed it in a time capsule that was buried at a ceremony on February 29, 2016. The time capsule is slated to be opened at the Resort’s 50th anniversary in 2041.
