Almas Beluga is the world’s most expensive Caviar

Diamond valued at £25thousand for 1 kg! The word ‘Almas’ is Russian for a diamond, which is a fitting name for the world’s most expensive caviar. If you want to enjoy the world’s most expensive caviar you would have to pay £25,000 for 1 kg of fish eggs! The world’s most expensive Caviar is called ALMAS (Russian for Diamond). This Beluga caviar is white in appearance. The caviar comes from the fish which is 100-year-old albino Sturgeon in the Caspian Sea. As a general rule, the lighter the color of Beluga Caviar the older is the fish and the more elegant and exquisite is the flavor.

Almas is extremely rare and extremely expensive. Obviously, it’s not widely available and in fact, the only outlet is the Caviar House & Prunier in London’s Picadilly which is allegedly the site of the most expensive meal in Britain. It is beautifully packed in none other than a 24K gold tin……diamond is always set in gold only!
