The only picture of the Concorde flying at Mach 2

When it comes to luxury, air travel has evolved at a tremendous space. Especially with the introduction of the A380 now we also have apartments with showers in the air. But there is something that no Super Jumbo or Dreamliner can deliver and that is supersonic travel. Yes, I am taking about the Concorde the true epitome of the golden age of flying. In this extremely rare pic, a Tornado fighter jet from the Royal Air Force has captured the Concorde flying at Mach 2 (twice the speed of sound). Above the clouds and literally on the edge of space you can also see the earth’s curvature on the horizon. Over the Irish sea and rapidly running out of fuel the Tornado had a hard time catching up with the mighty Concorde. Sigh, for young millennials like us four hours from London to New York will surely be a distant luxury.
