We’ve barely batted an eyelid since Louis Vuitton’s unveiling of Tambour Evolution Flying Tourbillon at this year’s BaselWorld and the brand has already showcased its Escale Worldtime Watch. Resolutely set on world time as the name suggests, the timepiece is a 30-color palette toting stylish new creation from the maison.
Featuring a dial that displays 24 cities and countries around the world, using 38 different, hand painted colors, the watch boasts rotating discs for hands and the Louis Vuitton signature yellow arrow. In a 41mm satin-polished white gold case with lugs, the design is a clear homage to the brackets from the corners of LV’s iconic trunks.
That, complimented by a low-key leather strap and only 20 pieces under production, the men’s timepiece will beckon to the almost LV mascot, the discerning traveller, its adventurous color-coded ambitions set at a price of $67,500.
