Donald Trump is turning Dubai’s skyline gold with a $1 billion, 1,150-foot Trump Tower that will crown the city with the world’s highest pool, a velvet-rope club, and $20 million penthouses that can be bought with Bitcoin

Dubai and records go hand in hand, just like luxury rests comfortably in the other. The latest feather in its ever-glamorous cap is the world’s highest pool, set to crown Dubai’s swankiest new address, the Trump Tower. A perfect match, in my opinion. The Trump International Hotel and Tower in Dubai rises as a 350-meter-high skyscraper and celebrates the association between Dar Global and the Trump Organization. The edifice is set to become the first and only Trump International Hotel and Tower in the Middle East.

The towering structure will be located along Sheikh Zayed Road and, yes, it will offer stunning views of the iconic Burj Khalifa, which still stands twice as tall. The Trump Tower will rise to 1,150 feet, while the Burj Khalifa soars to 2,717 feet. Still, there’s nothing the 80 floors of this stylish skyscraper will lack. The mega project has room for everything, from an ultra-luxurious staycation in the hotel suites to permanent opulent residences, including four-bedroom penthouses priced upwards of AED 70 million ($20 million).

Taking the bar of extravagance several notches higher are features like private lounges, personalized service, and world-class amenities, including a private, members-only club crafted to deliver exclusivity and elevated experiences.

The cigar lounge

To turn the Trump Tower into a beacon of design, opulence, and stature, Dar Global and the Trump Organization have roped in Japan’s famed architectural firm, Nikken Sekkei, for the design. Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, has dubbed the project a bold one, being the first of its kind to mark the foray of the prestigious Trump super-luxury hotel brand into the UAE.

Residents can soak up the sun and some stellar views of Dubai

The first 18 floors will go to the hotel, another two will be dedicated to the exclusive members-only club, and the rest will house the mammoth penthouses. Perched high above are two expansive penthouses with their own sky pools, while another dramatic pool, designed for residents, will become the highest pool in the world.

The iconic Trump Tower in NYC

Currently, the highest outdoor swimming pool is at the Guangxi China Resources Tower in Nanning, China, perched on the 71st floor at 1,060 feet. The record for the highest outdoor infinity pool belongs to another lavish Dubai address, The Address Beach Resort, where the pool sits on the 77th floor at 966 feet. With the Trump International Hotel and Tower expected to be completed by 2031 at a cost nearing $1 billion, Dubai looks all set to change the record books once again.
