Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Ivanka Trump were among the 1,200 high-profile guests who attended the lavish festivities, which featured performances from pop superstar Rihanna and magician David Blaine. The groom-to-be was pictured with his astrologer, Bharat Mehra, during the festivities, where he can be seen wearing an ultra-rare Patek Philippe. The horological masterpiece is worth a jaw-dropping $6.5 million; however, getting your hands on one is nearly impossible even if you have the money. The timepiece in question is the Patek Philippe Grand Complication Sky Moon Tourbillon in 18k gold, which was introduced by the watchmaker back in 2021.

The original Sky-Moon Tourbillon came out in 2001, and the ref. 6002R-001 owned by Anant Ambani is the 20th anniversary model. It is touted as Patek Philippe’s second most complicated watch with a grand total of 12 complications, including a repeater chiming on cathedral gongs, a display of sidereal time, and a perpetual calendar. The Grandmaster Chime remains the most complicated timepiece by Patek Philippe with 20 complications.

The topside features all the perpetual calendar indications, including day, date, and retrograde month displays, along with mean civil time and a moonphase. It also gives an indication of where you are in the leap year cycle. The front dial combines Grand Feu champlevé and cloisonné enameling.

The reverse side of the Sky-Moon Tourbillon shows all the astronomical complications and a display of the night sky as seen from the Northern Hemisphere. It includes sidereal time, sky chart, phases, and orbit of the moon. The 44mm case of the watch is crafted out of 18k rose gold and is hand-engraved with complex motifs. Interestingly, even the hands of the watch are engraved, which according to Patek Philippe requires over 100 hours to execute.
