Lauren Sánchez, fresh off her headline-making space trip with her gal pals, is spending her final month of singledom in signature style. Never one to celebrate without her tribe, the 55-year-old, who is set to marry Amazon founder Jeff Bezos next month, gathered her glamorous inner circle for a chic Parisian bachelorette party.

The soirée took place at the elegant Lafayette’s on Thursday, May 15. In attendance were her closest friends: Katy Perry, Eva Longoria, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Indian billionaire Natasha Poonawalla, and October Gonzalez, the wife of former NFL star Tony Gonzalez, who once dated Sánchez herself. The group ushered in the pre-wedding festivities with a very Parisian affair.

“The atmosphere was very relaxed and very Parisian,” a source told People. “It was a pre-wedding all-girl party for 13.” True to her girls’ girl persona, helicopter pilot Sánchez shared a carousel of images from the evening with the caption: “Forever starts with friendship, surrounded by the women who’ve lifted me up, illuminated my path in dark times, and shaped my heart along the way.”

She also gave a peek into the fairy-tale evening, which featured espresso martinis and dancing to Earth, Wind & Fire at her request. The venue, Lafayette’s, located at 8 Rue d’Anjou in the 8th arrondissement, is an 18th-century mansion that once belonged to the French aristocrat Marquis de La Fayette.

Now a fine-dining hotspot helmed by Michelin-starred chef Mory Sacko, it’s famed for a daring mix of French, African, and American cuisines.

For Sánchez and her guests, however, the custom-curated menu was indulgent yet comforting, featuring fried chicken, Caesar salad, Norwegian smoked salmon, followed by mushroom rigatoni and roasted chicken. The interiors, reimagined by architect Lázaro Rosa-Violán, blend classic wood paneling and vintage tapestries with modern Parisian elegance, perfect for the soon-to-be first lady of the Koru megayacht.

While the ladies reveled in the cozy ambiance, they didn’t miss the chance to step out onto the rooftop to soak in sweeping views of Paris, with the Eiffel Tower providing the ultimate backdrop for memories made. Interestingly, while Sánchez previously celebrated her engagement aboard the couple’s $500 million Oceanco-built superyacht, this time she perhaps reserved the 416-footer for the upcoming wedding in Venice, scheduled from June 24 to 26, even though Koru was already cruising the French coast.
