Talk about painting the town red! Soon-to-be Mrs. Bezos, Lauren Sanchez, painted the world’s largest sailing superyacht red, along with her bevy of beautiful friends. The former journalist celebrated turning 54 in the most ravishing way possible aboard the $500 million Koru, the largest schooner worldwide, owned by Amazon boss Jeff Bezos, worth $172 billion at the time of writing. Sanchez and her star-studded squad, all in several shades of red, posed on what looked like the sundeck of the 416-foot megayacht.
She shared a carousel of images on Instagram with the caption, ‘Seeing red! The day before my birthday, I’m overwhelmed with love and gratitude to be celebrating with these incredible women who are such a big part of my life. (Some are not here🥲). These women are not just friends, I consider them family. I trust them and love them deeply. Let’s not forget I also just have so much fun with them!’
Her incredible crew includes entrepreneurs, actresses, and philanthropists like Lydia Kives, Hollywood skincare expert Nurse Jamie, her photographer sibling Elena, Elsa Collins, the co-founder of This is About Humanity, and Veronica Grazer, wife of Hollywood and TV producer Brian Grazer. Momager Kris Jenner was conspicuously missing from the bash on the blue waters of St. Barts. She has been a constant at Bezos and Sanchez’s celebrations. However, she did comment on the helicopter pilot’s post, ‘Happy Birthday!!!!!!!! Enjoy every moment!!! love you!!’
Lauren Sanchez has proven time and again that she loves her girlfriends and even shared plans of an all-girls trip to space in 2023. That hasn’t happened, but the girls did take a $500 million megayacht by storm. The incredible Oceanco luxury vessel is a birthday venue like no other, twice the length of an Airbus A380, with triple masts reaching 230 feet. It is followed around by another stellar superyacht by Damen Yachting – the $75 million Abeona, which holds what’s most dear to the centibillionaire’s ladylove – a helicopter.
The Koru Yacht has been the address for all of Sanchez’s most special moments, from her marriage proposal to her engagement party, a birthday bash, and presumably even the impending nuptials. In recent months, the billionaire couple has made the most of their yacht, traveling from the Balearic Islands to Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Capri, Sardinia, Portofino, and the Baltic countries in the Mediterranean. They arrived in Fort Lauderdale and didn’t waste any time before heading to the Caribbean.
