After proposing to Lauren Sanchez on his sailing yacht Koru, Jeff Bezos threw a star-studded engagement party on the $500 million boat. The celebrations took place in Positano, Italy, in the presence of close friends. Among the VIP guests, the couple that stood out was Bill Gates and his girlfriend, Paula Hurd. The gliterrati included momager Kris Jenner and partner Cory Gamble, American entrepreneur Wendi Murdoch, Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder and CEO of dating platform Bumble, and producer Fabiola Beracasa Beckman. The lady of the hour, Sanchez shared a carousel of images with her girlfriends surrounding the vision in white. she captioned the post, ‘Seeing double after the most magical evening. Forever grateful.’
Jeff Bezos has been besotted by Sanchez since 2019 and spares no occasion to shower his lady love with affection. From proposing to her with a 20-carat ring on the world’s second-largest sailing ship that boasts Sanchez’s figurehead to celebrating their union with friends and family, he honestly does know a trick or two. The occasion was made even more special with the presence of Sanchez’s son Nikko Gonzales who posed with his girlfriend Ginebra.
The much-in-love couple has been touring the Mediterranean almost since they received 416 feet Koru in April 2023. While the proposal took place somewhere in Spain, the celebrations occurred over Italian waters. In between, the Amazon co-founder and the former broadcaster sailed Koru Yacht to Saint-Tropez, Portofino, Cannes, and Capri.
