If chartering a $190 million superyacht for a holiday was not enough, passionate climate advocate Leonardo Di Caprio took multiple helicopter rides from the 318 feet long yacht to the shore and back just to have meals and party with his supermodel friends.

As Jack Dawson, Leonardo DiCaprio may have ditched the ship RMS Titanic, but the Hollywood A-lister seems to be having major trouble doing the same in real life. This infatuation of the climate champion with the floating emission machine makes even lesser sense than his not dating any woman over 25. Not only did the Revenant star charter the $190 million Vava II on his Italian vacation, the actor’s climate activism took a tremendous backset.

As per German daily Bild, adding insult to injury was another climate faux pas when Leonardo and his band of supermodel friends took helicopter rides for several visits to the port of Santorini for lunch, dinner, or dancing the night away in the company of model Neelam Kaur Gill and Bianca Balti.

Leonardo DiCaprio, the yacht-loving and jet setting eco-warrior-
Yes, he does his bit for the environment and then, in one holiday, vetoes his work. In less than a week, Luxurylauches reported Leonardo DiCaprio and Jeff Bezos donated a whopping $200 million to protect the Amazon. In nearly ten days, Leo was back in the news for his uninhibited chopper use like there was no tomorrow to grab a bite on his Italian break. Netizens and prominent people haven’t shied away from calling out his duplicitous behavior. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro termed Di Caprio, an eco-hypocrite and asked him to stop partying on luxury yachts before lecturing the planet on environmental issues.
