Though the reason for the retro party remains a mystery, when you’re the world’s third-richest man, worth $204 billion, an occasion is hardly necessary.
It might have marked Zuckerberg’s entrance into the exclusive $200 billion club, making him the youngest member alongside Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Larry Ellison. The couple’s love for unforgettable celebrations has been evident this year, as they’ve thrown a few noteworthy parties. For Zuckerberg’s birthday, Priscilla recreated various places from his early life, including the dorm room where he learned to code, his first apartment with a mattress on the floor, and Pinocchio’s Pizzeria. This year, their love and admiration for each other have been especially prominent on social media, and fans aren’t complaining.
Interestingly, Zuckerberg and Chan first met at a Harvard University fraternity party in 2003, when Zuckerberg was a sophomore and Chan a freshman. Their story began in a bathroom line, where Zuckerberg smoothly asked Chan out, saying they should go out soon since he might not have many days left at Harvard.
