The world’s third richest man, Tesla boss Elon Musk, sent a stunning bouquet of exquisite flowers to his beloved mother, Maye Musk, on Mother’s Day. Despite being miles away in Shanghai on the special day, the former beauty queen-turned-model was overjoyed, as the tech tycoon worth $187 billion ensured his mama felt loved. The 74-year-old matriarch, who was once a finalist in the Miss South Africa pageant, was in China this Mother’s Day for a TV interview. The SpaceX CEO sent a large bouquet with a card that read, “Happy Mother’s Day, love E.”
His mother shared an image on her Instagram account captioned, “Thank you Elon for the beautiful Mother’s Day flowers.” She added, “A huge surprise after I returned from a TV interview, which included much admiration about the Shanghai Gigafactory. People love their Teslas everywhere I go. How do you like these Tesla colors? They are having fun with them in China. Love from Shanghai.” Maye Musk also shared a series of images showcasing her children and grandchildren. She wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day. I am the luckiest mom in the world. Also, the luckiest grandmom.”
Maye was staying at the luxurious Bulgari Hotel in Shanghai, known for its spectacular views of the Bund and Pudong skyline. The hotel is celebrated for its intimate ambiance and personalized service, as highlighted in Maye’s posts. The property features 82 extravagant rooms and 19 suites. In my opinion, Elon Musk should have added a trip to the splendid 2,000-square-meter Bulgari Spa for his beloved mother along with the timeless flowers. A few cocktails at the rooftop Il Ristorante – Niko Romito and Il Bar would have perfectly suited his fashionista mom’s personality. Nonetheless, it was a job well done!
