However, in proving that opulence can be applied anywhere, Jay Z recently sent out pricey Rolex watches worth a whopping $40k as part of the invite for the upcoming Shawn Carter Foundation Gala. Yes, you read that right!

As seen on Meek Mill and Swizz Beatz’s Instagram stories, the VIP passes to the event included the Rolex watches wrapped in style and presented in a package. Commenting on it, Meek wrote: “Hov sent these as VIP passes. SMH this rich shit getting out of control lol … I’m not joking lol.” Backing this was Swizz captioned his story to read: “Levels. Hov is on another level with the invite game,” “It came with a Daytona Rolex and a bottle of Ace.”
The Shawn Carter Foundation Gala will take place on Nov. 15 and Nov. 16 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and will feature a blackjack tournament (with a $100,000 buy-in) and a black-tie gala. All proceeds from the event will go to the Foundation’s scholarship fund, college prep workshops, and study opportunities, as well towards community goodwill programs for those in need. Talk about opulence for a cause!
