As weird as they are these Swiss cheese resembling boots do look cool

Fashion can be quirky – or as we may rightly put – a little too quirky at times. And a valid example of this is Virgil Abloh owned– Off-White’s latest edition. Unveiled as part of the marquee’s Spring/Summer 2020 selection, the novel piece – a pair of boots – oddly resemble cheese blocks and is bizarre and beautiful at the same time!

Part of the label’s popular space-age element that was displayed at its SS20 show in Paris last year, the boots are calf-high and are painstakingly made in buffed leather. They arrive in an all-white colorway with a pretty substantial heel and are far from an ordinary piece of footwear in terms of aesthetics. Cut out detailing across the length of the shoe further give it an edgy look with the instruction “for walking” pinned on the silhouette across the body.

Though a far cry from the boots we’re used to seeing or wearing, the new “Meteor Shower” boot as it is called, can be a great addition to one’s fashion ensemble. The quirky shoe-wear can be well paired with trousers and a pop-colored coat or could even be donned with ripped denims and a sport-tee. Off-White’s wild new edition can be found online for a retail price of $ 1395.
