It was only recently that news of the Apple watch broke, with one rather luxurious edition created in Gold. It didn’t take Flnz Lo much longer to reimagine it as designed by fash frat’s famous folk. Needless to say the likes of Alexander Wang and Chanel made it to the Hong Kong-based graphic designer’s list. Here’s taking a look at his luxe illustrations.
Sporting a marble print band for Alexander Wang, the above pictured Apple timepiece hardly seems far from his own aesthetics. Its monochromatic look with gold accents, as well as leather trimmings bring out the designer’s trademark boldness. How many takers out there for this, were it not fictional?
Maison Martin Margiela’s pristine timepiece draws you in even before you realize there’s a lot more to love in its avant-garde approach to telling time, with alphabets. Just when you thought you couldn’t do much with a rectangular dial! Only one problem, that watch isn’t real.
So far, so fantastic, this Louis Vuitton smartwatch included. Taking a cue from the label’s Escale Worldtime Watch that made waves at Baselworld, this one presents the brand’s heritage of travel and luxury combining the flag prints with a plush brown leather strap. I know what you’re thinking – this even one-ups the original!
The “Givenchy watch” appears stylish yet simple. Seen in black through most of its surface and with a classic seeming dial, it catches the eye with a pop of color in the label’s characteristic red on the digital crown. Looks like the just thing minimal-lovers would want to own.
And if that last one were for lovers of minimalism, this one’s for the rest. Very chic, very Chanel, the last piece of the reimagined Apple puzzle boasts interlocking gold rings and matching hour and second hands. Chanel loving peeps might want to mark this one under “timeless”.
