Louis Vuitton has unveiled its newest oud fragrance – Fleur du Désert

If oud fragrances are your kind of thing – Louis Vuitton’s oud range by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud will not fail you. After introducing Ombre Nomade, Les Sables Roses, and Nuit de Feu, the master perfumer has unveiled the newest oud scent – Fleur du Désert.

Inspired by the splendors of the dessert, the perfume aims to capture ‘the desert’s natural wonders in their original setting, blossoming at the heart of a rich and resolutely sophisticated composition’, as noted by 2luxury2.com.

The scent pays tribute to three native Middle Eastern flowers – jasmine, orange blossom, and rose. It features radiant tones of honey, cinnamon, jasmine, Centifolia rose, orange blossom, ambrox, and ambrette seed along with woody and spicy notes of Oud Assam. Commenting on it, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud in a statement said,

“Jasmine, orange blossom, and rose were brought to Europe by caravan from different regions in the Orient. My idea was simply to state these natural wonders in their original setting.” The exquisite Louis Vuitton Fleur du Désert is available as a 100- and 200-ml Eau de Parfum in a refillable bottle and a luxe pink casing.
